Thousands of servicemen have downloaded a hazard reporting app that allows them to file reports via their phones. It's a part of overall efforts to boost a culture of safety in the Singapore Armed Forces. Since the app was launched in June, over 60% of reports have been resolved. Another enhancement for safety is a "Safety Advocate", who calls out issues during training and then debriefs his commander. These initiatives are borne out of suggestions of an external review panel which completed its work in 2020.
