TODAY'S GOSPEL: Matthew 13:18-23
The gospel of Matthew reminds us that the evil spirit is very insidious and cunning. As St. Ignatius of Loyola said, when we are near to doing God’s will, the evil spirit will do everything to distract us. This is why there needs to be constant vigilance so that we can remain faithful to the Word of God. We must constantly nurture our relationship with the Father through listening and understanding, through prayer, and through good acts in our community. Reflect more on this as we celebrate the Kapamilya Daily Mass today, July 23, 2021, with Father Tito Caluag.
