#EIDLGrant The new infrastructure bill will pull $31 billion from the COVID-19 disaster loan program if it gets signed into law! The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act would specifically rescind $13.5 billion from the EIDL program, and another $17.6 billion in Targeted EIDL Grants for small businesses. Nonetheless, small businesses that meet the requirements can still continue to apply for the EIDL / Supplemental Advance as it's still in the draft stages.
Additionally, the August 2nd webinar I attended had SBA representatives who stated they "hope to get through existing backlog mid-August" and that they have "increased processing by 4X in July alone". Reach out to your local SBA office for assistance with any issues/concerns you may have.
