South Korea has reported two more cases of African swine fever in Inje, Gangwon-do Province.
These are the first cases reported from a local pig farm in three months.
The Agriculture Ministry says around 17-hundred pigs were culled to prevent the spread of the virus.
Although African swine fever does not affect humans, it's deadly to pigs.
If the spread continues, pork prices are expected to rise.
According to Statistics Korea, increasing demand has already pushed up pork prices by almost ten percent in July.
