Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the National Flag at Red Fort on India’s 75th Independence Day. India is celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ marking the country’s 75th year of Independence. After the tricolour was unfurled, flower petals were showered by two Mi 17 1V helicopters of the Indian Air Force in Amrut Formation. PM Modi also inspected the guard of honour organised by the armed forces. Earlier, he visited Rajghat and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day.
