Hannah talks about her recent science research project regarding inner ear mechanics. She explains her scientific method and approach of how she was able to create a connection with earthquakes and the inner ear workings by utilizing her senses.
Contributions she hopes to bring to the community are the awareness of hearing loss in the younger generations and a new area to research from in the scientific community. She also hopes to inspire others to create their own science projects for a better future. Hannah Shu is 15 years old and is a sophomore at Carmel High School.
Hannah regards herself as a young scientist and is an active participant in science fairs. She has recently been chosen as a 2021 International Science and Engineering Fair Finalist (ISEF), representing Monterey County. In addition, Hannah is a violinist and loves fashion.
