France Wants EU Army, Denmark Resists | How Real Are The Chances Of A NATO-Parallel EU Military?

France is miffed over exclusion from AUKUS defence partnership among Australia, the UK & the US. French President Emmanuel Macron is now pushing for an EU army. Macron had said that Europe should be able “to defend itself better alone". As per reports, several leaders agree that the EU should have a unit of up to 20,000 troops that can be deployed anywhere in the world.
