This piece with alcohol ink fades did not turn out at all like I wanted it to....

We all make stuff we don't like sometimes and we tend to either throw it out or wiping all the ink off.

But..... why not just re-do it...? I always keep the "ugly" pieces. Later on I look at them again, and if I'm still not completely happy with it I just start working on it again.

That is what I did with this one and I am soooo happy with how it turned out. I feel like there's a much better flow and the center of the piece really came together when I added some contrast.

And often I don't add anymore ink. I just use the ink that is already on the paper. ( Did add one extra drop of ink at the end...)
So making a piece better then the original AND saving money on ink.

What's not to love.... And reworking a piece is also a lot of fun.
(unless the reworked piece also turns out bad........)
