LGE 2021 | Vast majority of political parties failed to declare private donations

The vast majority of political parties in South Africa have failed to declare private donations to the IEC. The Political Funding Act stipulates this requirement for donations of more than R100 000. Only three parties, the ANC, DA and ActionSA, have collectively declared donations of just under R31-million.
