NFTs in September – what to expect (big updates)

August was the biggest month ever for NFTs, here's what to watch out for in September.

In this video I touch on several of the biggest trends that I'm paying attention to. For context, we're coming off a month where holding a floor Cryptopunk and Bored Ape netted a gain of 93 eth in 30 days, where Art Blocks blue chips like Fidenzas and Ringers reached unprecedented heights, where Solana came out of nowhere and became a serious competitor to eth NFTs, and where Axie Infinity and Illuvium tokens more than doubled.

I talk about the upcoming pipeline of profile pic collections as well as my thoughts on the current state of the genre, I touch on alternative art platforms that are gaining demand outside of Art Blocks, what to expect from the big gaming tokens, what to think about the impact that innovative projects like Nouns and Loot might have on other collections, and what might happen to NFTs if ethereum skyrockets.
