This is the 12th episode of the "Unreal Engine Adventure" tutorial series I am doing. This series is inspired by games like Heavy Rain or Detroit Become human. These are more like interactive stories where the player choices of player will have a permanent impact on the gameplay.
Today, I am going to implement a radial style quick access menu system somewhat similar to games like Dayz. Player will be able to select the items around the radial quick access menu using controller buttons or arrow keys in the keyboard. Also, player will be able to consume or modify what's assigned to each slot. In the middle of the radial menu, the usage and the name of the selected item will be shown along with the keys player can used to modify or consume the selected element.
