Five weeks after Gabby Petito’s fugitive fiancé mysteriously disappeared, officers discovered human remains alongside a backpack and notebook reported to belong to him.
Investigators recovered these things that were unknown at first by the police in Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, close to Carton Reserve, in an area near a trail Laundrie was believed to visit.
