Defending champions Classique Legend and frontrunner Eduardo will head into the Everest as favourites after the pair impressed during barrier trials, says Racing NSW expert Brad Gray.
“It was a nice trial – he’s (Classique Legend) just out for a morning stroll,” he told Sky News Australia.
“That’s now three trials he’s had, he goes into the race first up and he’s got a pretty fitness base. He’s the favourite now and for a reason, obviously being the defending champ.”
