I have always enjoyed doing technical exercises. Sometimes, you just need to give the repertoire and theory a break and just go all in, like Liszt did when young and get those fingers working up a sweat! Herein are my favourites. I encourage you to do the stretches first to be warm, then mix and match these ideas throughout your practice time. Don't be lazy! Repertoire doesn't teach technique; it expects you to already have it! Aim for endurance and precision so: eyes closed, never legato.
