Opposition parties grab control of some of SA's main economic metros

Opposition parties have managed to grab control of some of the country's main economic hubs, right from under the nose of the African National Congress.
The parties, including the DA, the EFF and ActionSA, have collectively voted the governing party out of power in some Metros, despite not entering into coalition agreements.
It's now a race against time, as today marks the last day for the 70 hung municipalities to convene.
If they fail, a rerun of elections might follow.
