Starting a Sawmill Business from the Ground Up | Tour of Ruben Custom Sawmill

In this video, we’re visiting a sawmill near me in Denmark Township, Minnesota that Matt Ruben built from the ground up. In only three years, Matt’s gone from learning how to mill and offer sawmill services via YouTube videos to making his 5-acre farm home to his Woodmizer LT40, iDRY Kiln, and a woodworking shop where he creates custom projects that include everything from modern dining tables to wooden benches and live edge coffee tables.

Watch now for the grand tour where we get to check out all of Matt’s sweet tools and setup that took Ruben Custom Sawmill from a part-time gig to a full-time business so quickly.
