The game between Tulsa and Cincinnati had a wild ending as it seems that Cincinnati did everything in their power to lose. Trailing 28-12, Tulsa scored a touchdown and two point conversion to cut the Cincinnati lead to 28-20 with eight minutes left. Then, on the next drive Cincinnati nearly had a disaster when a snap went over Desmond Ridder's head and was recovered by Tulsa. There was a pre-snap penalty however so the play didn't count. Tulsa ended up stopping Cincinnati and drove all the way inside the Bearcats 10 yard line before getting stopped on fourth down with one minute left. Cincinnati got the ball back and just needed to run the clock out... but fumbled and Tulsa got another chance. But once again, The Cincy defense held strong and stopped Tulsa on fourth down. Cincinnati held off upset minded Tulsa and won the game 28-20.
