For a long time it pained me that the gaming content was associated with my more personal stuff (music, earthy boy, etc) so it was hard to talk about. But I’m ready to actually separate these two channels and even make some of the old style of content occasionally.
The old gaming content wasn’t 100% me being myself (I was very much playing a character, as well as coping with trauma, and it can be hard for me to look back on), but it’s something I can do, and admittedly have a lot of fun with. I still find the old videos fun and despite the disconnect, there was a lot of genuine me in them.
I’m planning to move my music, earthy boy, etc stuff to a new main channel (not sure what the name will be yet), and restore the Jordan channel back to its video essay roots.
Even if my main focus continues to be the music and stuff on my new main channel (I’ll announce the new name and everything soon), I think the original channel could still exist as something fun that I occasionally upload stuff to.
