Meghan Markle won't be 'successful' at getting Americans to 'feel bad for her'

The Hill Columnist Kristin Tate says she doesn’t think Meghan Markle is going to be successful at getting Americans to feel bad for her.

Ms Tate’s remarks come after Netflix dropped a new trailer of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new docuseries along with the release date.

“This is just a symptom of the culture that has been created by the left in this country and also in the UK as well, the left in the UK, of this perpetual victimhood,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“People get addicted to the feeling of victimhood and feel like if they can portray themselves as victims constantly, it’ll make the public love them.

“But I just don’t think it’s going to work with Meghan Markle, people are sick of her when she first came to the US.”

Ms Tate said she doesn’t think the Duchess of Sussex is going to “make people like her” or “feel sorry for her” with her docuseries.
