It might seem that, as an Imam, and as a committed Muslim, that because I am critical of liberal thought that that must equate to liberal thought having no value. In summary, I am often in disagreement with the conclusion of liberal thought while, from time to time, I find some value in its premises.
If Muslims, especially those in the West, are to thrive, not only survive, then they (or at the very least, their leadership) will need to have a firm understanding of the various ideologies and philosophies that challenge Muslim life.
