Hi everybody and welcome to the Kirsty Meakin show!
Today we have in Fay, poor fay has had on gel polish so we have taken that off and we are going to give her some real nails using YoungNails products! Let’s get cracking.
I have already prepped and all that good stuff I put on some NailGaga ballerina tips now I’m going to clean over with the Gaelic Prep & Clean we will be using The YoungNails acrylic system so I'll get my YN Nail Liquid ready.
Ok, let's do this I have here the Young Nails Speed Clear and the Cover Rose Bud but first I have to prime these nails, and to do that I have the legendary Protein Bond acid-free Primer ill apply two coats just to the natural nail.
Let's Apply the product ill by doing some smile lines some ombre’s just to get this design going and I’m using the YN Cover Rose Bud then ill give them a little pinch.
Now I have this gorgeous Blueberry Mint Mylar from Young Nails and I’m going to pair it with this loverly Glitter from Lecente called Angel Multi Glitz glitter, ill lay down a little bead of the YN Speed Clear just to give my Glitters something to stick to and the ill stick them at the cuticle.
Now back on the Cover Rose Bud lets ombre over the glitter then we can cap that with the YN Speed Clear and I’m going to finish the application using the same products just in slightly different ways duck.
Now I’m going to go over with my E-file and take off any bulk then ill use my metal fine and make sure my side walls are nice and straight then ill use my hand file to refine the shape and then ill give them a buff just to make them nice and smooth.
Ok, let's give these a wipe over with some of the Gelica Prep & Clean get rid of that dust so we can then put on some Chrome powder duck but first we need to topcoat and I’m using the Gelica Topcoat, ok now we're going to cure the topcoat but were going to under cure it because we're putting the Chrome Powder on so 40 seconds in the lamp go!
Ok so I have a few Chrome Powders here I have Interstellar by Nailchemy and I also have a pink one and a green one from Nailed By Lucie I’m going to burnish some of each of these all over these nails
Now I’m going to do some floral artwork on these using the Katie Ashe black Gel Paint I’ve mixed in a little of the Gelica Topcoat just to make it a little thinner in consistency when that’s done cure it then we will give our live work the chrome treatment.
Alright, let's dust off and give these a final Topcoat to seal everything in and that’s it!
