I Sewed the Petticoat from the “Shall We Dance” dress from The King and I and its so frilly!!

Hi Everyone welcome to part 1 of a 2 part series making the shall we dance dress from the 1956 film The King and I.
In this part i will be making the petticoat that is worn under the dress. its 2 layers of cotton and silk with lots of pleated frills.
The costume was designed by the Broadway and Hollywood costume designer Irene Sharaff.
