Significant increase in average Sydney house price within past year

New census data confirms the average Sydney house price is up by hundreds and thousands of dollars.

Sydney's median house price is now $1.3 million - a jump of $308,000 dollars in the past 12 months.

This is an increase of $843 dollars every day.

Ray White Chief Economist Nerida Conisbee said 35 suburbs have joined the list of million-dollar suburbs in the past year.
