Sri Lanka to Hold Rates for ‘Reasonable Period,’ Governor Says

Oct.13 -- Central Bank of Sri Lanka Governor Ajith Cabraal discusses monetary policy, the local currency and the outlook for the economy. The central bank left borrowing costs unchanged Thursday after a surprise increase in August to shore up a currency that was Asia’s worst performer in the past year.
