Murray: SA would need 19 giant batteries to power all the homes in the state

South Australia is going to get a new big battery which will be able to power 40,000 homes and cost $150 million, says Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Here’s the problem though, there are 767,267 homes in South Australia,” he said.

“That would mean that South Australia would need 19 of these new batteries … that would cost $2.8 billion.”
