Short catch of a newer medical transport ambulance from the Prague based medical transport company Atlas responding. Some interesting thoughts about the light setup below 🔽
The light setup on this vehicle features:
- Whelen Century lightbar in its base configuration with only the corner modules
- Whelen L41 beacon
- Whelen Mini ION-T or LINZ6 in the grill
- Whelen siren and a siren speaker
I've mentioned this a couple of times already but I would absolutely not choose the Century in its base configuration simply because it's not bright at all with just the corner LED's. Two L41 beacons are less expensive and much more effective. Even two mini Century lightbars would not only have more LED's (4 corners + 1 to the front & 1 to the rear) and be more effective but as far as I know they would still be a bit cheaper than a "long" Century with only 4 corner modules.
