President Muhammadu Buhari has launched the e-Naira platform making Nigeria the first African country to adopt a digital currency.
The eNaira is a culmination of several years of research by the Central Bank of Nigeria in advancing the boundaries of the payments system.
It is expected to increase Nigeria’s GDP by $29billion over the next 10 years.
